Bottle Flipping Contest
On March 15th we started a week long Bottle flipping contest. We started doing posters and we even told everyone on the morning announcements. We did this on the outdoor stage in our school. Lots of kids like to flip their water bottles. So, a water bottle flipping contest was a big hit!
We played music for them on a portable speaker. We chose music that didn’t have any bad words and it was also very popular among students and you could hear them singing along.
We used caution tape to block out all the entrances, we also stacked boxes for an obstacle and more. Our first obstacle was where you have to land the water bottle inside the circle and our 2nd obstacle was where the students had to land the water bottle on top of the boxes.
We had prizes for the winners and for the students that participated. I think that everyone had a good time cause they kept on asking if they could do it again. There was a big crowd watching the kids play and they were also listening to the music we played.Everyone had a really a really fun time and it made us think that we could make more fun challenges for them during lunch.
I want to point out that there was a little boy that was lurking around and he wanted to compete but he was shy and nervous. We finally got him on the stage and he was the only student that landed the water bottle three times in a row. He was the big winner of the contest!!
